- That's crap. I have never seen such an insufferable group of
- snobs as that which appears to populate this C group. I just can
- not believe how bloody pedantic you folks are here. If you think
- that 'common curtesy (sic)' is required, then look at your own
- posts and temper your elitism and sanctimonious attitude with a
- little common sense advice for beginners, instead of sitting up on
- your pedestal revelling in the purity of your convictions.

- The purpose of asking questions and posting code is to obtain
- feedback and solutions. How can you expect a beginner to post
- 100% perfect ANSI C code - they are still trying to LEARN the
- language! If they are capable of posting 100% perfect ANSI C
- code, then they probably wouldn't have many questions, would they?

- BTW, if only ANSI C is allowed here, then why not change the
- group name to comp.lang.ansi-c? It would be much easier to
- defend this fortress against unclean, non-ANSI, platform-dependent,
- but otherwise valid C code.
